Hey Dalhart, are
you “Tough Enough To Wear Pink?” XIT Chrysler, Dodge,
Jeep is sponsoring the first Tough Enough to Wear Pink
night at the XIT Rodeo and Reunion on August 8th.
Tough Enough to
Wear Pink was founded by Terry Wheatley in 2004 to raise
awareness and money for breast cancer research.
By the
2006 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas,
cowboys, cowgirls and rodeos all over the country had
raised one million dollars for Tough Enough to Wear
Pink (TETWP).
XIT Chrysler is
asking the people of Dalhart to join us by wearing pink
to the rodeo on August 8th. We will be
collecting donations at the XIT rodeo booth and at the
dealership. XIT Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep will also
contribute $100 for every Dodge pickup sold during the
month of August.
All donations
will go to the Susan G Komen Foundation and be counted
toward TETWP at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
Our contributions will be made in the name of Judy
Eldridge, beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend who
lost a long battle with breast cancer in April 2008.
Forty thousand
women lost their lives to breast cancer in 2007. This
is a disease that touches everyone in one way or
another. Please help us raise money to find a cure, so
no one else has to suffer.
Put on your pink!
